If someone decides to open up the module to the internet it would at least be nice to optionally have a login. I'd encourage putting an SSL proxy in front of it too (for example, NGinx on a Raspberry Pi with LetsEncrypt certificates), but that's outside of the scope of this project.

  • Basic HTTP authentication on all requests if configured
  • Provide a hardware button to temporarily disable the login (in case the credentials are lost)
  • Implement configuration page
